Chamber of Commerce

1. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce offers support to members by promoting them within the community and visitors to the area. We do this by publicizing your business in the Wright City Area Membership/Community Directory and the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce Web Site.
2. Provide an opportunity for networking at all Chamber functions. For example, meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Activity Building in Diekroeger Park located at 13410 Veterans Memorial Parkway where attendees have the opportunity to "Boast with Pride" their business name, as well as, the opportunity to announce any specials they may be having at the time or any new services they are offering, etc. Also, most meetings have a guest speaker provide a short presentation on a topic that benefits the members.
3. Assist in Grand Openings, Ground Breakings and Ribbon Cuttings. Photos are taken at these events and appear in the area newspapers as an additional exposure for your business.
4. Opportunity to advertise and have your business listed in the Wright City Area Membership/Community Directory which has circulation of 1000 Directories throughout the community of which new residents are especially grateful to have.
5. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors social events for chamber members, as well as, the community through events such as the annual Business Breakfast, "Business After Hours," Wacky Golf tournaments, and occasionally sponsoring a dance, as well as, community events for Halloween and Christmas.
6. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce holds an Annual Awards Banquet to install officers, board members and to recognize and honor a "Volunteer of the Year," and a "Business of the Year."
7. Each new member receives a wooden membership plaque to display in their business that shows they are proud members and supporters of the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as, has their photo taken at their first meeting and submitted to the local newspapers, placed on the Chamber's web site and sent out in the weekly newsletter.
8. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce promotes the Wright City and Warren County community with "Meet the Candidate" nights, and Job Fairs when applicable, as well as, provides support of the local economic development.
9. The Chamber sponsors annual scholarships at the high school and encourages local youth through support of community events.
10. The Wright City Area Chamber office responds to letters and telephone inquiries about living, doing business, and visiting our area; whereby, we promote our members when giving out information.
