1. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce offers support to members by promoting them within the community and visitors to the area. We do this by publicizing your business in the Wright City Area Membership/Community Directory and the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce Web Site.
2. Provide the opportunity for networking at all Chamber functions. For example, meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Wright City Lions Club and here you have the opportunity to "Boast with Pride" your business name and what you are all about. When you "Boast with Pride" your business name, you have the opportunity to announce any specials you may be having at the time or any new services you are offering, etc. At many of the monthly meetings, a guest speaker informs the Chamber of interesting topics that benefit members.
3. Assist in Grand Openings, Ground Breakings and Ribbon Cuttings when notified. Photos are taken at these events and appear in the area newspapers as an additional exposure for your business.
4. Opportunity to advertise and have your business listed in the Wright City Area Membership/Community Directory which has circulation of 1000 Directories throughout the community and especially to new residents.
5. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors social events such as: "Business After Hours," Wacky Golf, Trivia Night, the annual Business Breakfast and the Night at the Horse Races.
6. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce holds an Annual Awards Banquet to install officers, board members and to recognize and honor the "Volunteer of the Year," "Educator of the Year" and "Business of the Year."
7. You will receive a certificate to display in your business to show that you are a proud member and supporter of the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce. At your first meeting, you will receive a Certificate of Membership, a welcome gift and have your phot taken for promotion in local newspapers and the Chamber of Commerce newsletter.
8. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce promotes the Wright City and Warren County community with a "Meet the Candidates" night, Job Fairs, and support of economic development.
9. The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce mentors a Junior Chamber to help promote and encourage local youth involvement with the community and the Chamber. The Chamber also sponsors an annual scholarship at the high school and participates in Career Day.
10. The Wright City Area Chamber office responds to letters and telephone inquiries about living, doing business, and visiting our area. We promote our members first when giving out information about our area.
